The "PHAGES in Grenoble" workshop will take place on October 8 and 9 2019 at the Institute for Structural Biology (IBS), on the EPN (European Photon & Neutron Campus) campus in Grenoble. After Montpellier-2015, Marseille-2016, Gif-sur-Yvette-2017 and Bordeaux-2018, this is the fifth symposium on phages organized by the Pluridisciplinary Thematic Network PHAGES.fr. Its objective is to bring together the community of French teams involved in bacteriophage research, while being open to international teams. Four foreign scientists specializing in bacteriophages in different fields will give a plenary lecture. The exchange language will be English.
The themes to be addressed will provide an overview of current research and promote scientific interactions between teams working in various and complementary fields:

Hello to all,
As announced last February, our next Phages.fr Network workshop will be held in Grenoble on October 8-9.
We will start on Tuesday 8 morning at 8:30 am, and finish on Wednesday 9 at 2:30 pm to allow everyone to get back home in the evening.
Registration is free but mandatory for the interest of the organization:Navigation/Registration tab on the left.
The network takes care of guests and meals, including a Wine & Cheese on Tuesday evenings. If you have registered and cannot come, let us know as soon as possible, and no later than October 3rd, that we can cancel the meals.
The program, in 15-20 min slots, will be composed from your abstracts that you can submit at the same time as the registration: My Space/Submissions tab on the left. A template has been attached to the mail.

For accommodation, you have the possibility to book a room at the ESRF Researcher's House, on site, for 36.20 € per night, 2.67 € for breakfast. Rooms can be booked on the conference registration site. Overnight stays will be payable on site (77.74€ for 2 nights+breakfast). Payment by cheques, credit card or cash.
A thematic day "Assembly and annotation of individual phage genomes" will follow, from Wednesday 9, afternoon to Thursday 10, 12:30 pm.
